Help is out there, I guess. On Linux, you just click the Application Center, type roughly what you want, and it's so cool and smart it gives you all these options for install. Like, "You typed Pictures of my Family... Would you like a Photo Album Organizer? It's free from some college kid just learning how to program in C++, but he'll support it free as long as his parents are paying his Internet bill...."
